Rangers transfer update emerges as more players set for Ibrox exits
Rangers have made progress towards more players sealing their permanent exits from Ibrox this summer, according to the Fourth Official.
The reliable transfer source claims [15 July] that apart from Fashion Sakala and the already-sold Antonio Colak, more players will be shown the door in the coming days and weeks.
Gers have already made a plethora of signings and they’re now looking to ship certain players out that do not fit the bill for Michael Beale.
Via Twitter, T4O wrote, “Hearing that Rangers are making further progress regarding outgoings (apart from the Sakala and Colak – now official – news that I reported day before yesterday).”
Money needed
Sales are important as they’ll bring in the required funds for the club to go out and strengthen again this summer.
Gers may have brought in a handful of players but they still perhaps are two or three signings shy of being legitimate title contenders.
Beale has shown that he’s willing to be ruthless and axe the players who do not fit into his philosophy and the board seem to be backing his decisions.

He knows that if this fails, the onus will be on him so there is immense pressure on his shoulders to deliver and prove he’s the right one for the job.
Thus far, the decisions he’s made appear to be taking the club in the right direction, especially in terms of the transfers in and out.
Hopefully, there are a few more exits before which the club gets the money to go out and make some important signings.
In other Rangers news, the club have now received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
