Rangers: Antonio Colak no-shows at Parma training despite fans awaiting his arrival
Antonio Colak was not present at Parma’s first-team training session on Saturday morning, according to Parma Live.
The Italian news outlet reported on Saturday (15 July) that fans had arrived at the training ground to catch a glimpse of Colak.
But the Croatian forward was nowhere to be seen and the fans who had travelled to Collecchio in the strong July heat were left disappointed.

However, the report states that an appearance from Colak would have been “surprising” due to the deal not yet being officially announced and his absence was most likely due to the 29-year-old tying up the final details of his move.
Formality
Colak no-showing does not suggest any move is close to falling through, in fact, it suggests quite the opposite.
Fans who had arrived hoping to catch a glimpse of the striker were probably acting prematurely as the deal has not yet been completed and as Parma Live reported, the forward was probably still busy with the last steps of his move.
Those fans who travelled might have to wait a bit longer to see their new player unveiled, however, there are no signs the deal will not go through.

Rangers fans are saying goodbye to the striker after just one season, and it was by no means a bad one. Colak started well and would end up scoring 18 goals in 39 appearances for the Gers.
However, 14 of those goals came before December and after an injury disrupted his rhythm he struggled to get back to his best.
In the end, it just wasn’t the right fit for Colak and Michael Beale but there is no reason why the striker won’t now go and achieve in Italy as there is clearly talent there, and hopefully, for those fans, he will be worth the wait.
