Official Rangers partner reacts to multi-million sale of Antonio Colak to Parma
Heart and Hand have reacted as Rangers confirmed the sale of striker Antonio Colak to Parma on Saturday, 15 July, via Twitter.
The Croatian moved to Ibrox last summer and enjoyed a good start to life at his new club before falling out of favour with Michael Beale.
The Sun claimed on 15 July that Rangers will receive £2.5million as he’s completed his permanent move to Italy.
Via Twitter, the club’s official partner wrote, “Leaves with our best wishes. All the best in Italy big chap!”
Should have stayed?
Colak was in contention for the Golden Boot and even led the goal-scoring charts after a handful of games last season.
He arrived at Ibrox as a relative unknown but managed to hit the ground running and from the get go, proved to be the real deal.
Whatever happened behind the scenes between him and Michael Beale, is unknown, but something certainly did as he featured sparingly under him.

Despite everyone knowing that Alfredo Morelos was leaving, Beale decided to make him his first choice striker over Colak.
However, Colak should’ve at least been given a chance to prove his worth in pre season and maybe then a decision should’ve been made on him.
This probably means that another striker could be walking through the door this summer and it remains to be seen what the plans are for the future.
In other Rangers news, the club have now received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
