Rangers accept bid for Antonio Colak as add-ons included in deal
Antonio Colak is on the verge of sealing his Rangers exit after a £2million offer from Serie B side Parma was accepted, according to Football Scotland.
The 29-year-old, only moved to Ibrox last summer in a £2.5million deal from PAOK Salonika, scoring 18 goals from his 39 games in all competitions last season before injuries in the second half of the campaign hampered his progress.
The Scottish Sun reported on 9 July that Beale is set to sacrifice the hitman as he continues his squad revamp and it was reported on Thursday (13 July) that Parma had placed had reached an agreement in principle with Rangers to sign Colak in a deal worth around £2m.

And according to Football Scotland (14 July), that bid has now been accepted by Rangers with the fee potentially rising through add-ons should certain criteria be met by the player. But Colak is now all but close to sealing his move away from Ibrox.
Unfortunate abrupt end
With Rangers already completing deals for Abdallah Sima, Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers, Colak’s short stint at Ibrox now certainly looks to be coming to an abrupt end.
The senior striker can certainly count himself unlucky to be forming a key part of Beale’s exodus this summer considering his tremendous goal-scoring feats last season.

Beale’s thoughts of the 29-year-old are understandable and his lack of prowess in his system certainly isn’t disrespectful, and the Gers boss is well within his rights to not see him as the sort of player that he is looking for in the way he wants Rangers to play next season.
When a club changes managers in a short space of time, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst barely lasting a year, signings under the short-lived boss are always at risk, and that looks to be the unfortunate case with Colak.
The Croatian striker now looks to be packing his Ibrox bags before long, and a move to Italian certainly seems like the ideal step but a move to Serie B is a surprise, given he possesses the qualities to thrive in the Italian top-flight instead.
For now though, Rangers fans will certainly be singing a rather sad farewell to a player who gave his all.
