Medical scheduled: Antonio Colak jets out to complete Rangers exit, £12,000-a-week contract lined up
Rangers forward Antonio Colak is set to complete a move to Italian club Parma, with his medical set for Friday (14 July), according to Parma Live.
The outlet reports (14 July) that the Croat will be sold for £1.7million plus potential add-ons in a deal that will see the striker earn £12,000 a week.
Michael Beale’s side has had a productive transfer window so far bringing in the likes of Cyriel Dessers, and Abdallah Sima and reportedly are close to a deal to sign Feyenoord’s Danilo to bolster their attack [Daily Record].

Quick turnaround
This deal was reportedly completed quickly, with El Nacional claiming that a quick arrangement had been made between Rangers and Parma, and the player looks set to join the Serie B side.
With the incredible influx of Rangers attacking players, Colak seemed to be on the chopping block despite a good season which saw the 29-year-old bag 18 goals in all competitions.
However, Beale seems to want a squad overhaul. With strong links to the younger and brighter Danilo from the Dutch champions, Colak may be better off getting minutes in the Italian second division rather than sitting on the bench in Glasgow.

Rangers too will see this as a good deal, having bought the former PAOK man for £1.8million [Sky Sports], so will be likely to at least break even if any of the reported add-ons are exercised.
The club will likely use these extra funds to complete the signing of Danilo, with the club close to an agreement on a fee and the player himself keen on a switch to Ibrox [The Sun].
For now, Rangers fan will bid farewell to the big Croat as he begins his Italian journey.
In other Rangers news, an unnamed Saudi club are close to a seven-figure bid for a winger.
