Rangers want to complete Jose Cifuentes and Jonathan Panzo transfers quickly

Rangers want to finalise transfers for Jonathan Panzo and Jose Cifuentes “as soon as possible”, according to The Fourth Official.

The online source has reported that the Bears still want the double transfer done, with Leon Balogun confirmed as the seventh new signing of the summer.

Cifuentes is already said to have agreed terms with the club, with LAFC holding out for a fee, as talks with Nottingham Forest continue to be slow over Panzo.

The 4th Official wrote on their Patreon page: “The club still wants to get deals done for Jose Cifuentes and Jonathan Panzo as soon as possible to get the squad assembled nice and early.”

Perfect.

Beale and his Rangers squad have touched down in Germany for their pre-season camp, and there is a real possibility that more names will join them soon.

Balogun has been announced as the next name through the door at Auchenhowie, so he will certainly jet out to play his part in pre-season, there is no doubt.

Cifuentes and Panzo are becoming somewhat of a transfer saga with both being mentioned for weeks now, although concrete progress is hard to come by.

Beale will be hoping for positive updates from the likes of James Bisgrove as he concentrates on preparations for the new season, including new signings.

Balogun is done, and it now looks as though Cifuentes and Panzo will be the priorities, with player sales and a potential deal for Danilo ones to watch as well.

Time will tell if these can be done immediately.
