Michael Beale to offer surprise Rangers transfer to Leon Balogun as injury update drops
Michael Beale is the one personally set to offer Leon Balogun a move to Rangers this week, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper has reported that the “surprise” move is on the table after the injury picked up by Leon King during the pre-season camp in Germany.
Despite that, a new update has suggested that King will be back way before the New Year, meaning he won’t miss much action in the end, as was feared.

Balogun has recently left Queens Park Rangers after being signed by Beale, who also played a role in his initial signing at Ibrox under Steven Gerrard.
The Nigerian international will become the seventh new arrival at the club already, although he may not have much of an impact on the pitch should King return when expected.

Relationship.
There are certain managers and players who get each other down to the ground, and they often follow each other around in rare occasions.
Balogun and Beale appear to fit into that category, with this the third time they will have worked together in as many years, but in different scenarios.
Rangers have got rid of many experienced faces who have been there and done it, so even if the defender doesn’t play much this season, he will be worth having around.
The Bears will want to avoid situations they have faced in recent years, such as in the Champions League last season, where they don’t have any senior options available to play in the heart of the defence.
With Beale to make the offer, there looks to be zero chance of this one not happening, with the nuts and bolts left to complete before this one is announced this week, likely
