Danilo head turned for Rangers transfer amid serious interest from Michael Beale with new bid incoming
Feyenoord are expecting Rangers to make a new bid for Danilo who has had his head turned by the chance to be the “main man” at Ibrox, Football Scotland reports.
Michael Beale has already signed Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers to boost his attack this summer and had a previous offer to Feyenoord rejected.
It was seen as an “opening offer” at the time when the £4.8million signing of Nigerian international Dessers from Cremonese looked to be struggling.

Football Scotland report that the first offer of around £3.5m was “testing the waters” to see what the Dutch side were looking for and a new, improved bid is now set to be tabled amid heavy interest from Beale.
And after coming off the bench regularly last season as he scored a total of 14 goals in the Netherlands and Europe, Danilo is reportedly enticed by being a regular starter which has “turned the frontman’s head”.
Firepower
Beale doesn’t look like he is ready to take chances this summer so if there is a player that he wants he is going to do what he can do get them.
Amid fears prior to the window opening that Rangers would be hampered in the summer by a lack of a transfer budget he has done pretty well so far.
With close to £8m spent on Lammers and Dessers combined and pursuits still ongoing for the likes of Jose Cifuentes and Jonathan Panzo the Gers do appear to be backing the manager.

He could still be set for disappointment if he is unable to get the latter two over the line or reach an agreement with Feyenoord for Danilo.
The 24-year-old has a strong scoring record in all competitions with FC Twente, Ajax, and now his current club, allowing for the fact that he barely played in the league for the Amsterdam giants.
Should he arrive at Ibrox it would give the Rangers strike force a major boost, and has the potential to be the most exciting addition of the rebuild.
In other Rangers news, an “incredible professional” appears to be on the way out of the club, opening the door for this latest offer.
