Rangers make another bid for Danilo, with talks ongoing between the two clubs
Rangers have made another bid for Feyenoord striker Danilo, with negotiations ongoing between the two clubs, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
The Scottish Sun has revealed Rangers have made a second bid for Danilo, which was rejected, but Feyenoord still refuse to name their price for the striker with talks ongoing. The Bears remain positive that a deal can be done and negotiations will continue.
This news comes following rumours that a deal may not happen this summer after Danilo made comments in his post-match interview that suggested he would be staying with the Eredivisie title holders in the coming season.

Rangers can’t let the deal drag on for too long
It has become clear this summer that Rangers intend to get deals done early, as they look to provide Michael Beale with a full pre-season to work with his squad. Danilo was first linked to a move to Ibrox on 24 June [Mail Plus], and now on 11 July talks continue to drag on.
If Rangers allow this deal to take up too much time, they could yet miss out on further targets. It is clear Danilo is their priority, but at some point, they must look for alternative options.

Feyenoord are playing hardball over the Brazilian after refusing to name their price, so Gers should also be careful not to overpay for who is ultimately the Dutch club’s second-choice striker.
There does appear to be a willingness on all sides to get the deal done after it was reported Danilo would welcome a move to Ibrox this summer, and the report in the Sun states Rangers are confident of completing the deal this summer, so perhaps patience will be a necessary tool.
