Italian clubs join the race to sign Antonio Colak this summer after Rangers make decision
Italian Serie B clubs Parma and Pisa have joined the race to sign Rangers striker Antonio Colak who has been linked with a £2million move to Werder Bremen, according to the Scottish Sun.
The Scottish Sun had initially reported Colak was the subject of interest from German outfit Werder Bremen [9 July], and now share news of interest from Italy as Rangers look to offload the striker with more incoming deals expected.
It has been widely reported that Colak is one of the players Rangers will look to move on this summer, with the club actively pursuing new strikers to play in his position, including new recruits Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Abdallah Sima.

The sooner the better for Colak
In terms of outgoing players, the sooner transfer can be done, the better it will be for all parties. Beale will want to have his squad ready and prepared ahead of the opening day fixture against Kilmarnock, and Colak will want to have plenty of time to gel with his new club before the season begins.
It was shared that Beale has been told to trim his squad and make room for further incomings, as the club continue to be active in the transfer market – with deals for Jonathan Panzo and Jose Cifuentes on the horizon.

Rangers are still targeting another forward this summer, with Danilo still in their sights despite recent comments that suggest a deal could be further away than expected. This is another sign to Colak that he should look for regular football elsewhere.
The news that there are plenty of suitors for the Rangers man will be positive, as he can be given a choice over where he ends up, and the club can look to move him on as soon as possible.
In other Rangers news, there is huge relief at the club following a fresh injury update.
