Rangers transfer news as claim made on Feyenoord striker Danilo amid future revelation
Rangers target Danilo has issued an update on his transfer stance at Feyenoord amid links to Ibrox this summer.
The 24-year-old Brazilian striker admits that he’s looking towards a future at the Dutch club beyond the transfer window.
According to Glasgow Times [10 July], Gers continue to retain an interest in Danilo and could reignite it at a “later date” as Michael Beale looks for attacking reinforcements.

End of the chase?
Danilo appears to have iterated his desire to stay in the Netherlands so it seems like this is the end of the chase for Rangers this summer.
The report specifies a “later date” but it does not state clearly whether that will be this summer or some time in the next year.
Beale does want another striker despite signing Cyriel Dessers and it remains to be seen who he does end up bringing through the door.

If Antonio Colak’s convinced him, there’s a good chance that the Croatian striker stays on and the club then do not bring in another forward.
It also depends on how much the budget is and whether or not they’re capable of generating more money from player sales.
Thus far, it’s all been players through the door and none out of the door so maybe it’s time they put a freeze on signings and start generating some funds.
In other Rangers news, the club have now received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
