Barry Ferguson predicts three more Rangers signings in coming days after one done deal
Barry Ferguson predicts Rangers could make two or three more signings in the coming days after confirming the signing of Cyriel Dessers on Thursday [6 July].
The Gers announced the Nigerian striker as their sixth signing of the summer from Cremonese for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal at Ibrox.
Dessers follows Sam Lammers, Kieran Dowell, Jack Butland, Abdallah Sima and Dujon Sterling through the Ibrox exit door and Ferguson, speaking in his Daily Record column (7 July, pages 54 & 55) believes Beale won’t be stopping his business there.

He said: “We’re not even a week into July and Cyriel Dessers should be the sixth new recruit when he is announced over next couple of days. I expect another two or three will be tied up in the coming days.
“That’s one almighty effort by all involved and, no matter how it all turns out when they’re actually out there on the pitch, it tells me that the main people behind the scenes are all completely aligned and working together in a thoroughly professional manner.
“It’s both refreshing and encouraging to see.”

Mightily impressive
Rangers certainly mean business this summer as they completed their whopping sixth signing of the summer, and once again Beale delivers the player he’s always wanted at Ibrox.
Dessers comes with grand European experience and a pedigree that means he could well replace Alfredo Morelos with such great aplomb next season.

While he may not be known as a true out-and-out goalscorer, he will certainly look to change that fact considering the plethora of quality he will be playing around next season.
However, it’s not just goals that Beale will have been looking for in Dessers’ game, but his off-the-ball work, tremendous hold-up play and the fact that he is a nightmare for opposition defenders.
Six signings and we haven’t even started pre-season is mightily impressive indeed, and hands Beale a chance to thoroughly work with his new additions over the course of the summer which may hand them an advantage over their Old Firm rivals.
The Scottish Premiership and Celtic should be very afraid right now, because the way Rangers are operating in the market right now, that coveted trophy may well be travelling across Glasgow this time around.
In other Rangers news, one Gers ace has sent a four-word message to an outgoing Everton player after his contract snub.
