Rangers transfer news as £500k wanted for Scott Wright to seal Ibrox exit
Rangers are said to have demanded £500,000 from any potential suitors to sell Scott Wright this summer, according to The 4th Official.
The Gers have been incredibly active in the summer transfer window so far, completing five deals already in players such as Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Dujon Sterling as Michael Beale looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Beale still has some bit-part players in his squad to sell such as Wright, Glen Kamara and Rabbi Matondo and according to The 4th Official, writing on their personal Twitter account [1 July], Rangers will be focusing on potential outgoings once deals for Cyriel Dessers and Jose Cifuentes are completed.

Football Scotland reported on 20 June that clubs are starting to circle for Wright’s signature with an Ibrox exit now set, and The 4th Official shared the news on their Twitter account.
”The 4th Official exclusively reported that Rangers want £500k for Wright so we will see what happens there,” they wrote.

Exodus
Rangers now look to complete a whopping seven signings this summer, and it will be imperative for Beale and the club to balance that out with plenty of outgoings on the cards at Ibrox.
The former QPR boss certainly inherited an incredibly bloated squad and following the exits of Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander, the Ibrox exodus will be continuing in abundance and that certainly includes Wright who barely featured under Michael Beale last season.

With money being spent on signings, John Bennett will be desperate to incur some funds from player sales and the quality of those set to depart the Light Blues this summer, which really shouldn’t be a problem.
Beale looks set to really start opening that exit door now, with the likes of Kamara, Mattondo and Wright also said to be available for a transfer this summer and considering the way their Rangers careers have taken an unfortunate turn, it’s certainly best for all parties involved that they depart the club this summer.
In other Rangers news, one Gers ace has sent a four-word message to an outgoing Everton player after his contract snub.
