Rangers transfer news as Michael Beale pleased after Sky Sports latest

Rangers boss Michael Beale is understood to be very happy with the business done at Ibrox so far this summer, with Cyriel Dessers set to be confirmed as their sixth signing this summer, according to Sky Sports [04 July, 07:15].

The Rangers boss has been pleased by the club’s backing this summer as he looks to bolster his squad, particularly in attacking areas with the club bringing in Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and now Dessers.

Beale will take charge of his first full season as Rangers manager this year and wishes to mould the squad into his own after a number of signings have been made already this summer with more still expected.

Rangers and Beale were keen to get deals done early to provide them with a full pre-season to get to know the club and the style of play, giving them the best opportunity to challenge for the title once again this season.

A happy manager means a happy squad

News of Beale’s happiness with what the club are doing this summer should be a huge positive to Rangers fans ahead of the new season, with happiness throughout the club a great stepping stone for success.

All too often, managers and clubs fall out over transfer deals and other club-related issues, leading to discontent spreading in the squad and ultimately a turbulent and disjointed pre-season calendar, as notably seen at Chelsea in the Premier League last season.

This will not be a worry at Rangers this year though, with the club, manager, and recruitment team seemingly working in tandem to provide the club with the best chance of being competitive this season.

With six signings already completed, including Dessers who completed a medical yesterday [STV News], each new player will have the whole summer to settle in, get to know their new manager and teammates and prepare for the new season at Ibrox.

In other Rangers news, there is already a deal in place for another signing after Dessers.
