Malik Tillman brother confirms Rangers transfer stance amid Ibrox return speculation
Malik Tillman’s brother has suggested his time with Rangers may not be done just yet.
The attacking midfielder scored 10 goals in 28 Scottish Premiership appearances before an untimely hamstring injury in the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to rivals Celtic brough a premature end to his loan spell from Bayern Munich.
According to reports, Rangers triggered a £5million purchase option on Tillman that Bayern later cancelled and had to pay £1m in compensation to the Gers.

In quotes reported by the Daily Record‘s print edition (29 June, page 58), Tillman’s brother Timothy – himself a professional at Los Angeles FC – suggested that he might not have yet played his last Rangers game.
“I don’t know what the future holds for Malik. But I will say he really likes it in Glasgow and with Rangers,” he said.
“Malik is due to come to Los Angeles to visit me soon too.”
Would be a real coup
Tillman was a real gem of a signing last season for Rangers and there was disappointment when Bayern cancelled his purchase option.
From Bayern’s perspective, you could see why. There was a chance he either developed and made a first-team breakthrough at the Allianz Arena or he could bring in considerably more than the price agreed with the Gers.
The issue for Michael Beale and his recruitment team at Ibrox is Tillman’s stock has grown considerably due to his impressive spell in Scotland.

Both Brentford and Brighton are named by the Record as registering an interest in the 21-year-old and the riches of the Premier League may usurp what the Gers can compete with financially.
But in what has already been a busy transfer window for Rangers, if they could bring Tillman back to Ibrox it would be quite the coup.
What Rangers must avoid, though, is waiting too long and missing out on other targets.
In other Rangers news, Mateusz Zukowski has agreed his departure from Ibrox.
