Rangers are working on deals to bring new players to Ibrox this summer, having already signed four players, according to Sky Sports.

Gers boss Michael Beale had secured the services of Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Sam Lammers.

Next in the door could be Brighton forward Abdallah Sima, who is having a medical at the club this week ahead of a loan move, according to Sky Sports.

More new faces needed

Rangers manager Beale has been a busy man in the early stages of the summer transfer window, and is clearly keen on adding even more new faces to his squad after acquiring Butland, Sterling, Dowell and Lammers as he looks to improve things all over the pitch.

The Gers fell short in various areas last season, and so the Ibrox manager wants as many new players as possible in order to challenge Celtic in domestic competition and enjoy a strong run in European competition.

Unfortunately, however, the club’s noisy neighbours will also strengthen on the pitch this summer, having made a positive step in the Celtic Park dugout with the reappointment of Brendan Rodgers.

The Northern Irishman has plenty of Celtic fans to win over next season after leaving for Leicester City, but Beale also has plenty to prove in the other half of the city, meaning there is plenty of excitement building ahead of the new campaign.

In other Rangers news, the club have made a brand new transfer approach, with Beale wanting the “real coup.”
