Chris Jack delivers verdict on Kemar Roofe Rangers exit this transfer window
Chris Jack claims that the next few weeks are crucial as Kemar Roofe could be another Rangers attacker to leave this summer.
According to the Glasgow Times journalist [28 June], his lack of reliability has led to his future at Ibrox being doubted.
Michael Beale is yet to make a decision as to whether or not he wants the former Leeds United attacker staying at the club beyond this summer.

Jack wrote, “Kemar Roofe is counting down the sands of time. The coming weeks will determine if his clock is ticking at Ibrox.
“Roofe’s quality is not in doubt. His reliability is, though, and it is those questions that he must answer, those doubts that he must overcome, if he is indeed to have a role to play within Michael Beale’s squad ahead of his fourth campaign at Ibrox.
“On his day, Roofe commands respect and a jersey. Beale must weigh up, though, if those days are gone at Rangers, if Roofe can go on another journey or if he has reached the end of the road.
“The days in the desert may well prove to be like a new beginning for Roofe. If not, he will be lost in the Ibrox wilderness and his time will have run out at Rangers.”
Attacking exodus?
Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Malik Tillman have all left and will not be returning to Ibrox for next season.
This has seen Rangers become proactive in the market as they’ve brought in Kieran Dowell and Sam Lammers, but that’s not going to be the end of their attacking reinforcements.

Antonio Colak has also been linked with the exit door and it remains to be seen if Beale decides to keep him or wield the axe.
Roofe must prove himself before a decision is made as his fitness has been extremely erratic over the past 12 months.
Rather than him being a liability, it’s best if he’s shown the door in case of a failure to prove his fitness as the club can even get a transfer fee.
However, given the number of attackers having left and Roofe’s versatility, reasons for him to stay on are apparent.
In other Rangers news, the club have now received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
