Rangers transfer news as Ibrox exodus opens room for Abdallah Sima move
Rangers are looking to add to their four signings already this summer following a clear out of first-team stalwarts, with Abdallah Sima strongly linked, according to the Daily Record.
Sima is now “on the verge” of becoming their fifth signing of the summer, but he will not be the only incoming in the next few weeks as Gers target a multitude of attacking talent.
The report states that Rangers’ exodus of experienced players has freed room in the squad for more targets, especially in attack.

Rangers will look to follow up their interest in Traore after reports in Sweden suggest the Glasgow club have had a £3million bid turned down, while reports in the Netherlands suggest their top target is Feyenoord’s Danilo, with a “concrete” offer made for the 24-year-old.
The report also states that Gers’ right back Mateusz Zukowski is set to join Slask Wroclaw on loan following an uninspiring spell at Lech Poznan.
Exciting times
It became clear last season that changes were necessary at Rangers following Celtic’s leisurely stroll to the title, so a clear out of some of the older players, and four transfers confirmed already with more yet to come will be a welcome change amongst the Rangers support.
Traore is an exciting young striker with a brilliant attacking record in Sweden, having scored 12 goals in 13 games in the league, and would be a great option for the Glasgow side.
Danilo is another interesting choice, with a bid supposedly having already been made for the Eredivisie winner, according to 1908.nl in the Netherlands.

Sima coming in on loan from Brighton gives them some versatility up front with his ability to play on the wing a valuable trait to have.
This summer certainly looks to be an exciting one for Rangers fans, especially with regard to talented new signings.
In other Rangers news, Chris Jack has named the new player he believes will live up to their hype in Glasgow.
