Official Rangers partner reacts to recent legal development with SPFL and Scottish FA
Heart and Hand, the official media partners of Rangers have reacted to the recent development with the Scottish FA granting permission.
According to the Glasgow Times [26 June], Gers are seeking an apology and legal costs from the SPFL over the long-running dispute over cinch and Park’s Motor Group.
The FA have granted them permission to take the SPFL to court to put an end to this argument.
Via Twitter, Heart and Hand wrote, “SPFL have already indicated they would apologise and pay costs but haven’t done it. Going to be a bit difficult to now argue to a judge that they can’t.”
End it once and for all
Had the SPFL done what they said they would and paid up the money at the time, none of this would’ve happened.
Going to court and taking the legal route is often the last option but Rangers were left with no choice in this situation.
It’s good to see that the FA realised that the Light Blues were on the right side of this matter and now the courts will do their work in resolving it.

Rangers will surely welcome the money but more importantly, this can be a matter that’s put to bed once and for all.
There certainly was no need to overblow it in the first place but that happened and it’s just been rumbling on now.
Douglas Park is no longer at the club and finally the matter appears to be reaching its conclusion after so many months.
This is an embarrassing moment for the SPFL and they’ll know to air on the side of caution for similar situations in the future.
In other Rangers news, the club have no received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
