Eleven Rangers players futures not guaranteed as Michael Beale prepares for sales
Eleven Rangers players have had their Ibrox futures scrutinised, having been named as contenders to leave Ibrox in a report by Football Scotland.
With four signings already confirmed and several more to follow, the summer transfer activity will soon involve sales for Michael Beale as the Ibrox boss continues his squad rebuild.
As part of that, a ‘full team’ worth of players faces an anxious wait to find out where they will be playing their football next season.

Many do have an uncertain immediate future ahead with at least five of them key contenders to leave the club in the coming weeks.
In the piece by Football Scotland, the 11 players under threat in terms of the potential end of time in Glasgow were named and their situations were detailed.
Jon McLaughlin, Mateusz Żukowski, Ben Davies, Borna Barisic, Jon Lundstram, Glen Kamara, Ianis Hagi, Scott Wright, Kemar Roofe, Antonio Colak and Rabbi Matondo. That represents an unlikely full starting lineup but it shows the extent of the task for the manager.
The question on those names above is in addition to the previously confirmed departures of Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Filip Helander.
Then there will be a handful of youth players who will also leave the club.

What we can be assured of is that not all of the 11 players to make the above list will move on. No chance.
There is a very good case for key asset sales in terms of Kamara and Davies, as they need to be sold for football and financial reasons. A big question mark hangs over Hagi who falls into the same bracket, as much as no one is in a hurry for him to leave.
Additionally, McLaughlin, Zukowski, and Wright have no futures at the club and they will be transferred. Colak had a good first season but he is going to fall down the pecking order, hastening his exit.
Lundstram will play, although he has just one year on his contract remaining, as does Barisic who like his song says, could come or go.
That leaves Roofe and Matondo who seem unlikely to be leaving anytime soon. The former is a fine player who just can’t stay fit, so no team is going to come at Rangers with money. Hopefully, he can play a role next term, whilst the latter appears to be a project that Beale wants to pursue.
The Welsh international has pace to burn but he was out of sorts last season, looking out of his depth. If he could contribute, it would be a bonus, but that will require some turnaround.
Let the sales begin.
