Rangers official partner reacts to ‘best signing this summer’ as confirmed news emerges
Rangers’ official partner, the Heart & Hand Podcast, have reacted to the news that Mark Waller is rejoining the club as director of medical and performance.
Dr. Waller previously spent four years at the club before departing for a similar role at Leicester City last summer. Michael Beale has a close connection with Waller having previously worked with him during his previous Ibrox stint.
The Heart & Hand have since taken to Twitter to express their delight over the new appointment.
“This is HUGE! Best signing this summer, not even joking,” they wrote (23 June).
Impressive
This could prove to be a smart appointment.
Waller clearly highly regarded and has a good working relationship with Beale.
It’s absolutely vital that the medical department and the first team work in close proximity. If there’s any lack of trust, then issues can arise. The board have evidently listened to Beale and appointed a man that he trusts wholeheartedly.
Hopefully, the appointment of Waller will improve Rangers’ injury concerns throughout the duration of next season.

We often forget just how important a fit and healthy squad can be. If, at any point, five or six first-team players are out, then a dip in form is likely to occur.
This appointment, coupled with the Gers transfer business marks an excellent start to the transfer window for the board and Beale.
Three or four more additions will put the icing on the cake heading into what is a huge season for the Gers moving forward.
In other Rangers news, the club have submitted a bid to sign a ‘major player.’
