Rangers transfer news: Fresh Alfredo Morelos update as five clubs including Everton and Nottingham Forest keen
There are reportedly five teams interested in signing Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, including Everton, Nottingham Forest and Sevilla.
According to Colombian media outlet Futbol Red [18 June], Spanish side Cadiz have now entered the race for the exit-bound Light Blues forward.
It’s understood that he could use them as a stepping stone and secure another big move in a couple of years with the pressure not being that high there.

Waste
It will be a waste for Morelos if he ends up moving to a club like Cadiz as he would’ve been better off at Ibrox.
He would’ve been front and centre of Michael Beale’s rebuild at the club and would also get a chance to compete in the Champions League.
That will only happen if he ends up going to Sevilla and even a move to the Europa League winners is far from guaranteed.

If he moves to Turkey that will definitely be a step in the wrong direction and it would be one motivated by money, if anything.
A number of players have left the SPFL for a Premier League side and that option still appears to be on the table for Colombian.
It remains to be seen where he ends up as it’s just a little under two weeks before his contract at Ibrox runs out and he’s officially a free agent.
In other Rangers news, the club are now close to sealing another major signing after the announcement of Sam Lammers in their biggest acquisition of the summer window.
