Rangers transfer news as Lyndon Dykes move on cards at Ibrox

Interest has reportedly reignited for Rangers target Lyndon Dykes with Burnley and Millwall also in the race to sign the QPR striker.

According to the Daily Mail [19 June], the Scotland “hero” put in a valiant performance against Norway in Saturday’s Euro qualifier which has put him on the radar of clubs.

Millwall bid for the 27-year-old in January and are now back in the frame to sign him this summer.

Sign him

It’s evident that Rangers need to act quickly if they are to secure the services of the Scotland international this summer.

Burnley are now a Premier League club and can offer him decent wages so it remains to be seen what he prioritises.

He can get European football, perhaps even compete in the Champions League at Ibrox and also challenge for the league title.

At Turf Moor, he will be fighting in a relegation battle with his side being among the favourites to get relegated once again.

If Rangers and Burnley are realistically interested, they can easily sign him ahead of Millwall – who play in the Championship.

It remains to be seen where he ends up going because Gers desperately need to bring in a new striker this summer.

In other Rangers news, the club are now close to sealing another major signing after the announcement of Sam Lammers in their biggest acquisition of the summer window.
