Rangers transfer target Auston Trusty speaks on potential Arsenal exit
Rangers target Auston Trusty has spoken about a potential transfer this summer, as reported by the Daily Record.
The Arsenal defender is fresh from a very successful loan at Birmingham City last season, in which he won the Player of the Season award, as voted by the Blues fans.
He is currently with the USA international squad for their CONCACAF Nations League campaign, shortly before he will return to Europe for the pre-season campaign.

On the subject of a potential move, the 24-year-old former Philadelphia Union player offered the following. “I definitely speak to the other players because we’ve all been in these environments,” he said.
“The football world is very small, so if you’re in a situation a lot of guys have been in, it’s good to talk to people here because not too many people, at least around me, other than my agent and the team, are going to understand the ins and outs fully.
“We all talk about it all day, all different scenarios and situations, which is good and helps me figure things out. But my mind really is focused on the national team right now.”

The right fit
Trusty or not, Rangers boss Michael Beale will be bringing in further defensive reinforcements in the weeks ahead.
Dujon Sterling has arrived already but he won’t be the only new face to compete for a starting jersey in the coming season.
The links to Trusty have been well-publicised for some time now with the boss needing to identify the right fit for his team.
Whilst Connor Goldson is a first-pick, he is a doubt to start the season and John Souttar is yet to prove his long-term fitness viability leaving just Ben Davies, whose own future at Ibrox is not assured.
At least one more central defender will come in, possibly two, as Beale firms up his transfer plans in the weeks ahead.
After a stellar season with Birmingham, Trusty has enhanced his reputation as a capable defender in his first full season in European football, after his move from MLS.
He now needs a platform to kick-on and that could yet be found at Ibrox.
