Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said, “The one item that sticks out here is the knee surgery in 2019-20 but based on the injury record in following years, doesn’t seem like there’s been much more cause for concern with it when it comes to the medical.

“The injury record looks quite within normal variance.”

The 26-year-old could be announced as a new Rangers player as early as Thursday, 15 June, with everything appearing to be in place.

He will follow Jack Butland, Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling through the door at Ibrox as Michael Beale will oversee a squad overhaul this summer.

Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander have all left the club and it’s become imperative to make new signings.

In other Rangers news, a pundit has claimed that the Ibrox faithful will love this attacker at the club as Rangers are closing in on another signing.
