BBC pundit reacts as Rangers transfer news emerges amid Alfredo Morelos exit
Kenny Miller has told Rangers what they need to do in order to combat the absence of Alfredo Morelos next season with the Colombian set to leave.
He believes that if they bring in a player who guarantees them 20-25 goals in the league, they’ll be in a good position to challenge or win silverware.
Thus far, three signings have been made, but per the Glasgow Evening Times on 14 June, work is ongoing on two more strikers in Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers.

Miller, a BBC pundit told them, “At the top end of the pitch, it is about your game intelligence, that needs to be top level if you are going to be a successful No.9.
“If you can get a striker that is getting 20 or 25 league goals in a season then you will probably not be too far away from silverware come the end of it.
“Alfredo was loved and adored by thousands of Rangers fans the world over for the goals he scored and the job he did and they were singing his name every week.
“It would help if you are quick, that is obviously a good attribute. If you have pace, coupled with a real intelligence for the game, then you could be a really dangerous animal.
“We have seen of late, that is something that has let Rangers down. In the big games, you need people to stand up and give their best performance when their best performance is needed.”
Spot on
Michael Beale knows what Morelos brought to the table and will be aware that replacing him is not going to be easy.
Rangers work on a budget and do not have the funds to get into bidding wars with teams in the Premier League to sign strikers.

They have to look at foreign leagues and go for talents that are under the radar and ones they can bring in on the cheap.
Both Lammers and Dessers are likely to be in that category even though they may not come with a big name recognition.
In terms of Lammers, he does not have those numbers to back him up so this seems like a questionable signing and it remains to be seen how he fares.
Even Antonio Colak did not have the best of goal-scoring numbers before moving to Ibrox but showed he can do it in the SPFL.
In other Rangers news, a pundit has claimed that the Ibrox faithful will love this attacker at the club as Rangers are closing in on another signing.
