Rangers transfer news: Michael Beale to sign off sale for ‘significant profit’ as Glen Kamara hints at exit
Michael Beale is ready to sanction the sale of Glen Kamara if it brings in “significant profit” as he looks to “offload” more Rangers players in the coming weeks, according to Chris Jack.
The Ibrox boss has already seen five senior pros leave, for a combined transfer fee of nothing, with Ryan Kent the first of the expired contract exits to be confirmed at a new club with the Monday (12 June) announcement at Fenerbahce.
As incoming deals continue to arrive, with Sam Lammers on his way to Glasgow to sign a four-year deal, Beale is planning to trim his squad, and amid widespread interest he wants a decent return to let Kamara go.

The Finnish midfielder cost £50,000 four seasons ago and has been given a £5million asking price, with English, French and Italian clubs reported looking at him, Jack writes in the Glasgow Times.
Kamara, 27, has himself hinted that a departure is on the cards, with his comments via the same report to the Pallokerho podcast (12 June) in which he said: “I had some good times there.
“We could definitely have done better because with the teams we had we just came up short a few times. But I had a really good time, I won trophies there and did things I’d never done in my career before.”
Next step
Kamara can’t just walk out the door for nothing like Kent, Alfredo Morelos and company, and he has plenty of ability to still contribute if called upon, so Beale could find use for him if the right bid doesn’t arrive.
But having dropped down the pecking order with the arrival of Nico Raskin in January, and with Ryan Jack’s contract extension making clear the manager values him, it seems like this is the window for the Finn to move on
His tone is very much of someone who knows that his time at the club has run its course, and it sounds like there is a market for him.

The £5million asking price is likely instructive, as anything over half of that could make a big difference to the manager when he has so many players he wants to bring in.
It’s not a certainty that Kamara goes unless the mooted interest crystallises into bids on the table, but assuming it does this move appears right for everyone.
If he is to go this summer he will depart having made 193 appearances for Rangers, scoring nine goals and assisting 11 more [Transfermarkt].
