Rangers transfer news: Chris Jack shares when Sam Lammers flies into Glasgow

Chris Jack has reportedly detailed Atalanta striker Sam Lammers’ travel plans as he appears all set to sign for Rangers this summer.

According to Herald Scotland journalist Chris Jack [12 June], the 26-year-old is set to jet into Glasgow in the coming days to finalise the signing.

There’s been an agreement on personal terms and the club will be shelling out £3million to secure the services of the Dutch forward.

Get it done

If all goes to plan, Lammers is set to become the fourth signing in Michael Beale’s first summer transfer window as manager.

Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling, and Jack Butland have all moved to the Light Blues and the Dutchman will soon join them.

He will be expected in Scotland soon as he will have to sign the paperwork and do the club’s media activities before an announcement is made.

Everything from personal terms to the transfer fee is agreed and if his medical goes as the staff would hope, then he can be a Rangers player in the next three or four days.

There’s certainly plenty of excitement surrounding new signings and thus far, most of Beale’s acquisitions have proven why they’re worth the outlay.

It does remain to be seen if the club bring in another striker after Lammers or if they focus on other areas of the pitch first.

In other Rangers news, a pundit has claimed that the Ibrox faithful will love this attacker at the club as Rangers are closing in on another signing.
