Rangers want to rush through £1.5m deal to sign Jose Cifuentes with Michael Beale stance revealed
Rangers have already completed three signings and now want to rush through a fourth to bring Jose Cifuentes to Ibrox, as reported by the Daily Record on 10 June.
Cifuentes, who plays his football in the MLS for Los Angeles FC, is keen on making the move to Glasgow when his contract expires in six months’ time and is ready to agree to a pre-contract deal on 31 June.
However, Michael Beale wants to bring the midfielder in now ahead of the new season beginning which could cost Rangers up to £1.5million.

The Ecuadorian central midfielder made his international debut on 6 September 2019 and has made 15 appearances for his country since.
For LA FC, the 24-year-old has played 114 times and scored 14 goals while providing 19 assists from midfield.
An easy deal
With the player reportedly having his heart set on a switch from LA to Glasgow, the deal should be a fairly straightforward one to agree on when it comes to personal terms. However, the decision the club now has to make is when to bring the player in.

If the club are willing to pay up to £1.5million to bring their man in six months earlier, it clearly demonstrates that they have high hopes in regard to the potential of this signing.
It is a gamble to take if Rangers can wait and get their man in December but a gamble Beale clearly feels is worth taking.
Cifuentes is a player with international experience and at the age of just 24 still has plenty of room to develop which could be an exciting prospect for the Scottish club.
It seems as if one way or another Cifuentes will end up in a Rangers shirt, it is just a matter of when.
