Jose Cifuentes Premier League stance revealed as Rangers agree terms to seal transfer

Rangers have reportedly agreed terms to secure the signing of LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Scotland [11 June], the Colombian international fancies moving to Ibrox because it will be a good stepping stone for him to seal a Premier League transfer in the future.

A number of players who’ve shone in Scotland have seen themselves earn multi-million and lucrative transfers south of the border.

If Cifuentes feels he can be as good that Premier League clubs want to sign him then that should be only good news for Rangers.

This would mean that he’ll be performing at such a high level and that will result in his team doing well on the field of play.

If he can be that X Factor player for Michael Beale’s side that can make a difference in crucial moments then he’s already going to be respected massively at the club.

If the Premier League does come calling, Gers will hold the stronger hand as they’ll have him tied down to a deal and can name a high transfer valuation.

Clubs in England’s top flight benefit from lucrative broadcasting deals so they will surely be afford to pay up for a prime Cifuentes.

As of now, what Gers need to be focusing on is getting this signing over the line as soon as possible.

In other Rangers news, work permit issues have now emerged which means that the club may not be able to complete a major signing this summer.
