James Bisgrove gets Rangers chequebook out as cash flows amid £15m development
Rangers fans demanded an ambitious transfer window – and so far Michael Beale, James Bisgrove and John Bennett have delivered.
Kieran Dowell was the first to commit himself to the cause north of the border with his contract at Norwich City reaching its conclusion.
Dujon Sterling was also convinced to make the move to Ibrox – turning down a new contract from heavy-hitting Chelsea in the process. Jack Butland is the third and final free agent to make the move to Scotland.

Despite no transfer fees being spent yet, it’s clear the money is now beginning to flow from the top of the club down.
The Scottish Sun claim on Saturday 10 July that Rangers hope to get a double deal over the line for Cremonese striker Cyriel Dessers and Atalanta forward Sam Lammers. It’s understood the Gers hope to land the Serie A pair for £7.5million.
Another forward who has been linked with a move is American Haji Wright. It’s believed the Gers tabled a £10million bid (Turkish journalist Salim Manav, 7 May) for the Antalyaspor forward.

All in all, if reports are to be believed, the Gers have committed nearly £15million in transfer bids in recent days. Surely this has calmed the angst amongst the fanbase.
It was not too long ago when significant unrest emerged, with the protest at Fir Park the most poignant. A new era is seemingly underway at Rangers and Bisgrove and Bennett aren’t messing around when it comes to their support of Beale.
With the transfer window set to get into full swing, the fanbase will be hoping Beale’s dramatic overhaul now gathered serious momentum.
In other Rangers news, work permit issues have now emerged which means that the club may not be able to complete a major signing this summer.
