£4m bid for Glen Kamara to be submitted as Rangers tell midfielder he’s free to leave Ibrox for good
Glen Kamara has been told he’s free to leave Rangers this summer, according to the Scottish Mail on Sunday.
The newspaper reported via their print edition on Sunday (11 June, pages 100 and 101) that the 27-year-old is wanted by Ligue 1 club Rennes.
It is understood that Rennes had a £4million bid for Kamara rejected by Rangers last year but will go in with a similar offer this summer.

Decent money
If Rennes thought Kamara is valued the same this summer as they did last season, then we’ll snap their hands off for £4million.
Unfortunately, the Finland international is one of many Gers players to have declined in the last couple of years and he could have been sold for a lot more at the peak of his powers after we won the Scottish Premiership.
Last season, he was barely visible in the Gers squad and ended up playing just 22 times in the Scottish Premiership, starting just 12 times.

He was a star player under Steven Gerrard but a rot set in with Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the helm and since Michael Beale has come in, he has understandably not fancied the former Dundee man.
We don’t blame Beale at all for Kamara’s demise but if he gets £4million for the struggling Finn then he will have done well.
It’ll go a long way towards us adding new signings in a summer transfer window where a complete overhaul of the squad is needed.
