Sam Lammers wants Rangers move as Ibrox white smoke edges closer
Sam Lammers wants to move to Rangers with his transfer from Atalanta “very close” to being completed, according to Rangers Review.
According to The Herald’s Chris Jack (The Herald, 9 June), Rangers are hopeful of completing a move for the 26-year-old within the next week.
Rangers Review report on 10 June that the Dutchman is “keen” to make the move to Scotland and that a deal is “very close” to being completed.

Faith
Beale is clearly showing some faith in the 26-year-old. He was hot property in Holland but has struggled for form in Serie A. The Rangers boss clearly fancies his chances of getting a tune out of the forward.
There’s a player in there somewhere. A cut-price deal could allow for Rangers to add another striker. Cyriel Dessers has also been mentioned.
The Cremonese forward amassed a decent return during the 2022/23 season and is reportedly eager to move on from the Serie B club.

Fans will be beginning to get excited when it comes to the Gers’ transfer business. Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Jack Butland have already arrived and there’s certainly more on the way. Midfielder Jose Cifuentes has reportedly agreed terms with the Light Blues as Beale looks to bolster his ranks.
With Celtic on the lookout for a new manager, there’s an opportunity this season. With plenty of new additions and a fresh approach at the top of the club, there’s no reason why they cannot reclaim the Scottish Premiership.
In other Rangers news, work permit issues have now emerged which means that the club may not be able to complete a major signing this summer.
