Rangers transfer news as Lyndon Dykes red alert starts after Sky Sports latest
Rangers must be on red alert in their transfer pursuit of QPR striker Lyndon Dykes after an approach from fellow Championship outfit Millwall.
Daily Mirror journalist Darren Witcoop shared on 21 April that Dykes, 27, was one of Michael Beale’s “top targets” this summer, having previously worked together at Loftus Road.
However, the Gers might have been beaten to the punch for the 28-capped Scotland international.

Sky Sports have now reported, via their live blog (7 June, 15:18), that Millwall have tabled a bid which could rise to £2million for the forward, who runs out of contract at QPR next summer.
They added that the Gers are also interested in Dykes’ signature, with the London-based club willing to sell for the right price this summer.
After the departure of Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox, Beale is in desperate need of attacking signings this summer.
Currently, the Englishman has just two out-and-out centre-forward options in Kemar Roofe and Antonio Colak, but both are injury-stricken and often unavailable for selection.
In a deal worth just £2million, and after years of regular goalscoring at numerous clubs, Dykes fits the bill to perfection.

Although figures of eight Championship goals from 39 appearances might not make pretty reading for Dykes in the 2022/23 campaign, six of those came under Beale before his departure for Rangers on 28 November.
A reunion between the two could prove to be fruitful, and considering the limited transfer kitty that the Gers manager is working with, it looks like an attractive option to pursue.
However, with Millwall now making an official bid and several other Championship clubs also interested, Rangers could be caught off guard before they know it.
Four signings have already come through the Ibrox gates in the last month, and the Gers must do their utmost to add Dykes to Beale’s first-team squad.
In other Rangers news, confirmed Gers transfer news has been tipped to “lift” the club just at the time that Celtic are looking “unstable”.
