Rangers transfer news: Glen Kamara told he can seal permanent Ibrox exit for £6m

Glen Kamara has reportedly been told by Rangers that he can seal his permanent Ibrox exit this summer amid interest in his services.

According to the Daily Mail [5 June], the 55-time champions will demand a £6million fee if they part ways with the 27-year-old.

Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Besiktas are understood to be circling around the Finland international and will look to sign him this summer.

Sell him

Kamara does not strengthen the first team anymore and if the club sign two midfielders, he may not even make the matchday squad regularly.

Thus, it makes sense for Gers to cash in on him and there seems to be genuine interest in securing his services.

Galatasaray and Besiktas are both top clubs in Turkey and will hate to lose out on their transfer target to their title rivals.

This could see them match what Rangers are asking for his services and if not that amount, then at least engage in a bidding war to get closer to that fee.

It’s pretty clear that Michael Beale does not envisage him being a part of his first-team plans in the future so it makes sense to part ways with the Finland player.

They can then use that money to bring in someone younger and maybe even better as there are talented gems out there, especially in the lower ranks of English football.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
