Rangers transfer news as Jonathan Panzo and Morgan Whittaker talks continue at Ibrox
Rangers are in talks over deals to bring Swansea attacker Morgan Whittaker and Nottingham Forest defender Jonathan Panzo to Ibrox, according to the Daily Record.
The pair are reportedly targets for Gers boss Michael Beale, who is keen to strengthen in various areas this summer, as his transfer push continues.
His squad rebuild comes after the club’s fierce rivals Celtic clinched the treble.

“Swansea’s Morgan Whittaker and Nottingham Forest defender Jonathan Panzo are two options that Beale is also in talks over,” according to the Daily Record.
More incomings expected
Beale has already been busy in terms of transfers, with the Gers boss securing the services of Dujon Sterling and Kieran Dowell before the window has even opened.

Such signings demonstrate the urgency at Ibrox to get deals done as soon as possible, and also show Beale’s intentions to bring in some much-needed reinforcements.
Panzo would be moving to Ibrox in a similar vein to Sterling, with the former having spent much of his youth career at Premier League giants Chelsea.
And like Sterling, he spent last season on loan in the Championship with Coventry City, heartbreakingly losing to Luton Town on penalties in the play-off final at Wembley.
At 22, the youngster already has plenty of experience, and would definitely provide more depth at the back for the Gers.
Attacker Whittaker meanwhile hit double figures during his last campaign and would be viewed as a much-needed attacking replacement for the outgoing Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have been sent an injury warning regarding one of Beale’s new signings.
