Rangers make considerable finanical outlay to sign Manchester United loanee Jack Butland
Rangers have spent a significant amount of money on other fees despite signing Manchester United loanee Jack Butland on a free transfer.
According to The Fourth Official, he completed his medical without any hitches on Monday, 5 June, and will be moving to Ibrox.
He has been linked with the club for a while and finally got his move as Gers look to make him their number one goalkeeper.

Via Twitter, T40 wrote, “Jack Butland is joining Rangers as the medical went off without a hitch.
“While he is technically a free agent, Rangers are making a considerable financial outlay bringing him to the club.”
He will follow Dujon Sterling and Kieran Dowell through the door at Ibrox.
Good move
Free transfers are never free in the true sense of the term as a lot of fees are paid here and there in order to get the deal done.
He must’ve demanded a decent signing on bonus and his agent too would’ve made the most of what’s perhaps the last big signing of his client’s career.
He’s expected to be at Ibrox for the foreseeable future and if he flops here then no club bigger than Rangers would want to sign him.

It’s unlikely that he does exceptionally well that Champions League sides want to make him their first choice keeper in his mid 30s.
For now, he’s just what Michael Beale needs and he will be delighted to get this deal over the line long before pre-season even begins.
It seems like the club were waiting for the FA Cup final to finish before they could bring him home and his medical has also gotten done with no snags.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
