Official Rangers partner reacts as Ange Postecoglou closes in on Celtic exit to Tottenham Hotspur
Official Rangers partner Heart and Hand podcast has reacted to news that Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is set to join Tottenham as their new manager.
The Hoops sealed a domestic treble on Saturday (3 June) with a 3-1 win over Inverness, meaning the Australian has won five of the six domestic trophies available to him since joining last year.
But a report from David Ornstein on Sunday (4 June) stated that he is now close to leaving Glasgow for north London, which according to Rangers partner Heart and Hand will “weaken them” although the light blues must get their act together for it to mean anything.

“Still need to get our s— sorted before anything but it does weaken them,” they wrote on their official Twitter account (4 June).
“Going to be an interesting season…”
Rangers first
As much as what happens at Celtic doesn’t mean anything to Rangers, in reality this could be one of the most important moves of the summer for our season.
Michael Beale and Rangers have got a lot of work to do in the summer window, with key players leaving the club and the need to replace them and strengthen the squad greater than ever.

But we’ve seen them replace treble winning managers before and keep their momentum, so we have to ensure that we do our job first before we worry about what they’re doing.
Without him they’re weaker, and he’s likely to try and take one or two players with him south of the border which will help Rangers close the gap, but Beale knows he must get everything right.
This is an excuse for the board and Beale to really push on and ensure that we close that gap and fill all the gaps we have to take full advantage.
