Fenerbahce to announce signing of Ryan Kent from Rangers this week
Fenerbahce are expected to formally announce the signing of Ryan Kent from Rangers this week once the Turkish season ends, according to Fanatik.
Kent will leave Ibrox after five seasons at the club when his contract expires, and the English winger has agreed a three-year deal in Istanbul with the option of a fourth year worth £28,000 per week.
All that is missing is the official announcement after the player “shook hands” on a deal and gave his word, and it’s now expected that will come once the season comes to an end on Wednesday (7 June).

All done
Rangers fans have already stopped paying attention to anything to do with Kent because he won’t be here next season, so it’s no longer any of our concern.
But now that his next destination is known, we know that a replacement is needed quickly and can focus on ensuring that is a position that is filled as a priority.
While many have accepted that this season was not Kent’s best and that his head was elsewhere, he was still second only to James Tavernier for the most assists in the squad this season.

That means his numbers need to be kept in the squad without him, and the likes of Rabbi Matondo and Scott Wright simply aren’t of the level required to do that.
It will be very important to get this signing right, and Michael Beale knows it more than anyone. Now the board have to deliver for him.
In other Rangers news, one star could miss the beginning of pre-season after a Friday announcement.
