Sheffield United and Southampton in transfer battle to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara
Newly-promoted Premier League side Sheffield United want to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara who’s also linked with Southampton.
According to TEAMtalk [3 June], despite their recent relegation, Southampton also retain an interest in the Finland international.
Michael Beale has recently admitted that Kamara could be among many players to leave Ibrox this summer.

Cash in
Kamara’s got two years left on his contract at Ibrox and this summer appears to be ideal in order to cash in on him.
There is interest from the Premier League as well as the English Championship and they will be willing to pay a decent transfer fee for him.
It’s pretty clear that Beale does not see him as part of his plans for the future which is why he’s been so blase about him potentially leaving the club.

Kamara is no longer the player he was two years ago when clubs like Arsenal were linked with a move for him.
He has regressed considerably since then and had it not been for so many injuries, he would’ve struggled to make the matchday squad as well.
If Rangers are to win the title, they certainly need players better than Kamara on their side and it makes sense to look for upgrades right away.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
