Steven Davis sends heartfelt message to Allan McGregor amid Rangers exit
Steven Davis has sent a heartfelt message to outgoing Rangers ace Allan McGregor.
The goalkeeper is one of five players to be leaving Ibrox upon the expiry of their contracts, with a real overhaul expected under Michael Beale.
Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield, Filip Helander and Ryan Kent are all in the same position at the Gers, with wages set to be freed up on a big scale.

“Been through it all with this man, unbelievable career at our boyhood club, continually pulled off big saves in big moments,” Davis wrote on Instagram.
“Been great to share a large part of the journey with you.”

From one legend to another
McGregor leaves Rangers as a club legend, having given his all to the Gers for so many years.
He will be sorely missed on the pitch and in the dressing room in the years to come, with the next number one, whoever that may be, definitely having big shoes to fill.
The iconic goalkeeper perhaps could have stayed on for another season, much like fellow summer mover Arfield, with many fans keen for the pair to have been kept on by Michael Beale.
But the manager clearly has an idea in mind of what he wants moving forward, with McGregor not fitting the bill.
Davis meanwhile is another Rangers legend, but it looks like he hasn’t quite called his time at the club just yet, despite his lengthy injury absence.
The midfielder is definitely still capable of doing a job in the middle when required, he just, unfortunately, hasn’t had the opportunity to do that in recent times.
