Rangers transfer news as more business could be done in days at Ibrox
Rangers are striving to conclude more transfer business in the coming days, according to a fresh report from The 4th Official, on Patreon.
As previously intimated by Gers boss Michael Beale, there will be significant changes made to the squad over the summer and the article mentions this with reference to a “huge transfer window” that is set to come.
Rangers have already secured Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling for the new campaign whilst the high-profile quintet of Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Filip Helander have all moved on from the club.
The report indicates more transfer activity to follow very soon if all goes to plan.
“A small update on where transfers at Rangers stand according to the information I have been able to gather,” it said.
“With 2 Bosman signings done (Dowell and Sterling), the club are trying to get some more business complete within the next few days as this summer could very well be a huge transfer window in terms of turnover of players”

Last season may have just concluded a matter of days ago, but already the wheels are in motion to shape the Rangers squad ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Beale has already stated that he is looking forward to what is to come and that the fans should be excited about the type of players who have been targeted, with a promise of more to come.

That will be complemented by several sales, to follow the five out-of-contract players as outlined above, given the need to raise funds and reinvest toward the plan on the pitch next term.
