Fabrizio Romano shares Rangers transfer news with Jose Cifuentes contract terms in talks
Rangers are still holding talks with the representatives of Jose Cifuentes with the length of his contract at the heart of talks, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Los Angeles FC midfielder Cifuentes is wanted by Michael Beale as part of a summer overhaul at Ibrox and a contract offer worth £10,900 per week is reportedly on the table.
Romano, speaking to GIVEMESPORT, suggested that while the move remains on the cards, personal terms have not yet fully been agreed.

“It is possible. The conversation is ongoing with his agents, but it’s not done yet,” he said.
“They are still discussing the terms of the contract, the length of the contract and some of the salary details, but there is a conversation ongoing.”
Cifuentes fits the bill
Beale has proven he has no time for sentiment as he aims to rebuild his Rangers squad ready for a fresh assault on Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership next season.
Veteran Scott Arfield was one of five players released alongside Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander to make space for new arrivals.
Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling have already signed on, while Jack Butland is expected to follow suit shortly.

Cifuentes seemingly is not quite over the line yet, but the Ecuadorian would bring energy, mobility and creativity to Rangers’ midfield, and more importantly at the age of 24 is the sort of age Beale is looking for as he builds for the future.
It appears as though there are still a few key issues to iron out but Rangers should make a concerted effort to bring Cifuentes to Ibrox.
And for the player himself, Rangers would be a great place to showcase his talents for a potentially lucrative move further down the line.
In other Rangers news, Sunderland winger Jack Clarke is reportedly on the radar of the Gers.
