Rangers must table £3m+ bid for Luis Palma as initial offer rejected

Rangers would certainly be looking to increase their offer for Luis Palma after Aris rejected their initial bid for the Honduras attacker.

According to Athlos News [27 May], Gers made a bid of £2.6million for the 23-year-old which was turned down by the Greek club.

It’s understood that the wide player is still on Michael Beale’s radar and the club will revisit this deal in June with an improved offer.

Aris want nearly twice of what Rangers have offered and that’s how negotiations begin, with the clubs meeting in the middle before a deal can be struck.

This means that there’s a very good chance of Gers making a bid that’s slightly over £3million and perhaps sweetening it with a few incentives to get this over the line.

The club desperately needs a player in that position to replace Ryan Kent who will be leaving after his deal runs out next month.

Palma is younger and while he’s unproven in the SPFL or at a similar level, he’s done well in Greece and perhaps will be a perfect fit for Beale’s side.

The aforementioned report highlights that Rangers are still keen on signing the Honduras international and it’s time to make an improved offer.

They need to get most of their deals done before pre season begins so the manager can work with them and get them ready for the Champions League qualifiers as well.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
