Rangers get boost to sign Jack Butland after what Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag said
Rangers have reportedly gotten a boost to sign Manchester United loanee Jack Butland after what Erik ten Hag said recently.
The Dutchman said that he wants to bring in a new goalkeeper to provide competition for David de Gea with them set to play Champions League football next season, meaning Butland is not being planned on being retained.
According to Football Scotland [30 May], this has boosted the Ibrox outfit’s chances of securing a deal for the English shot stopper.

Snap him up
Currently owned by Crystal Palace, Butland is a keeper who appears to have lost his way recently and it’s time for the club to help him get his career back on track.
He is a talented shot stopper who’s just been unlucky in recent seasons and he can do a good job for Rangers.
Michael Beale wants a semi overhaul of the squad this summer and a keeper is certainly going to be among his top priorities.

Butland has been linked with the club for a while and it’s time that the club goes out and ends up making the deal permanent soon.
Hopefully, they get this one done as soon as possible as there might be other clubs too that will want to sign the Englishman.
With no sporting director in place yet, there are expected to be a few delays in getting deals done so they need to get that sorted as well.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
