Alfredo Morelos takes references of Turkey-based players after Rangers exit set
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is reportedly considering playing in Turkey as it’s announced he will be on the move this summer.
The Colombian’s deal at Ibrox runs out at the end of June and he will not be putting pen to paper on a new deal at the club.
According to Fotomac [29 May], Galatasaray appears to be an option for the striker and he’s spoken to players based in that league in order to gauge the situation before taking his next move.

Step back?
Players usually use the SPFL as stepping stones for one of the top five leagues and the same can be said about managers too.
He’s moving to Turkey which is very much like the SPFL as there are a few dominant teams but they end up struggling in Europe.
Given his numbers, it made sense for a player of his calibre to maybe feature in the Premier League but there does not seem to be any interest in his services.

It remains to be seen where he ends up, but we do not see the Turkish league being a step up for him.
There have been links to Sevilla and that represents what a step up is for the 26-year-old, but he does not seem to be considering that, as of now.
Rangers fans will be happy to see the back of him as he’s not had the right mentality over the past few months and it makes sense for the parting of ways.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
