Rangers transfer update: Michael Beale reveals new arrivals set to be ‘signed off’ amid ‘busiest’ period admission
Michael Beale has trailed new Rangers signings to be on the way soon after a period where he has been the “busiest [he’s] ever been.”
The Light Blues ended their season with a 3-0 victory at St Mirren, as Fashion Sakala scored twice and Antonio Colak added a third, but there is still a major overhaul ahead over the summer.
The Ibrox boss admitted he is glad the season is finished so he can stop juggling recruitment and games, and suggested that a couple of deals are close to completion now that he can focus on the former 100%.

Beale said after the St Mirren win, as per Rangers Review: “The last five/six weeks is the busiest I’ve ever been, I’ve not been shocked by anything because I was here before. The added responsibility and time off the pitch managing other areas and doing the recruitment has been busy.
“I’m glad the end of the season is here to be honest because I just have that to focus on, but we’re really in a good place with that and just waiting for one or two things to be signed off.
“Then we will start to see a new Rangers team come together.”
Surgery
Kieran Dowell has already been announced but there are expected to be plenty more to come this summer, not only to replace the outgoing crowd of expiring deals but to lift the club in the fight against Celtic.
Dujon Sterling is thought to be wrapped up, so the former Chelsea full-back may well be one of the things set to be signed off, while Jose Cifuentes has been widely tipped as close to a deal.
Beale himself tried to suggest the LAFC man was some way away, but now that he is ready to focus entirely on the transfer market the business should move quicker overall

Attacking arrivals are the ones who will really get the fans excited, and along with goalkeeper will likely prove the most important for next season unless Robby McCrorie has won the job at the back.
Rangers finished the season pretty well, with the 3-0 win over Celtic the most important of the games once the title was out of reach.
But that doesn’t detract from the fact that this campaign was a major disappointment overall, so with Beale on the case full-time now the recruitment has to be right to change that for next year.
