Rangers in line for multi-million transfer fee from Glen Kamara sale

Rangers are reportedly likely to make a multi-million fee from the sale of midfielder Glen Kamara this summer as he’s fallen out of favour.

According to the Scotsman [25 May], Gers could make £2million from the sale of the 27-year-old.

The Finland international has two more years left to run out on his deal at Ibrox but has found game time hard to come by.

Cash in

A couple of seasons ago, Kamara was linked with clubs like Arsenal and now is struggling to even make the matchday squad at Rangers.

With new signings in the summer, the midfield is likely to be strengthened and it’ll push him further behind in the pecking order.

It makes sense for all parties to part ways as he can reignite his career elsewhere and Rangers could do with the funds to strengthen the first team.

Michael Beale has claimed that there is money to spend in the summer but he surely knows that the club needs to sell certain players to raise funds.

It remains to be seen if Kamara is part of his long-term plans as from what we’ve seen this season, he doesn’t happen to be too high on Beale’s list of favoured players.

Rangers cannot go to the next level if they’ve got the 27-year-old playing more often than not and it’s the ideal time to cash in on him.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
