Agent of Rangers target Matija Frigan issues transfer update

Tomislav Puljic, agent of reported Rangers target Matija Frigan has revealed that there have been no offers on the table for the 20-year-old.

In an interview with Sportske Novosti, who discusses the Croatian striker’s links to Ibrox, Puljic has admitted that there have been enquiries into his services.

Rangers will be exploring plenty of options this summer after announcing a number of first-team departures this week.

Puljic said, “I haven’t seen any offers and, as far as I know, not even Rijeka (have seen any).

“Every day, people from various clubs call me and tell me ‘an offer will come, an offer will come’. And there is none.

“Enquiries happen every day. There are really a lot of them. (But) there is no offer, not even on my desk. And, as far as I know, not even on the desk of the club’s management.”

Morelos replacement?

The Croatian has decent numbers this season but it’s a whole different ball game playing for Rangers in the SPFL.

The scrutiny is going to be tenfold and it’s not always an easy place to go to despite the gulf in class between the two Glasgow clubs and the rest of the league.

He’s only 20 so his better days are ahead of him and if Rangers view him as one for the future, then by all means, he must be signed.

However, if this is how they plan on replacing Alfredo Morelos, then it’s not a wise move from the club hierarchy.

They need to sign someone in their prime who can deliver the numbers that the Colombian did.

Unfortunately, Morelos is leaving for free so they cannot even cash in on his transfer fee to rope in a replacement for him.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
