We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Rangers...

Ryan Kent may still feature again for Rangers despite claims of his injury being a season-ending one, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that it’s presumptuous to write off a return for the English winger this week even though his contract is running out.

He could be on his route to recovery and on the brink of returning to training and may be available for the games against Hearts or St Mirren.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said, “Assuming his season is over is presumptuous because we don’t really know what’s going on.

He could be on the brink of returning to training and therefore potentially be available for the final week.

Kent appears set to leave Rangers in the summer with his deal running out and he could even make his return to English football.

The former Liverpool winger has been sensational on occasions for Rangers but this season, his performances have been inconsistent.

He played his best football under Steven Gerrard and it does not seem to have worked under Giovanni van Bronckhorst or Michael Beale.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
